S is for
the machine stitched cards I made and the awesome address stamp I purchased from sweetpaperie.etsy.com making a great gift for my bestest real-life friend on her birthday:
S is for Samantha, my first born. Smart, snarky, sweet, snotty, sassy, sensitive.
S is for school. I love the two Catholic Schools that start with S that educate our daughters. They are costing me small fortune but are worth every penny.
S is for sewing. I made this apron for Julia while she was running in and out of my sewing room asking what I was sewing, I told her a curtain......she was so surprised when she found out it was an apron for her!
S is for selling what you make. I continue to have mixed feelings about it. I make and sell things as a second job (as opposed to leaving my house and working for someone else at night) but it's still much more fun to make things and give 'em away.

Where did you get the flamingo? Gotta have one.
OMG! i have that same fabric!! i made a wrap skirt with mine!! very cute!!
I agree with you on selling stuff. Making stuff to sell isn't as much fun as giving things away.
I know exactly what you mean about sewing/selling! I would always rather give stuff away to someone who will appreicate it. I am constanly taking things out of my Etsy shop for a gift or donation. Oh well! :-)
I love your "S" items and appreciate the link to the address stamp which I shall check out in a few minutes.
Thank you for saying what you did about giving away and selling. I love to give gifts but have been thinking about making some things and opening an Etsy shop. My issue is turning my bliss into work. Maybe there's a happy balance but I'll have to think about this more.
Great cards! I must check out the stamps ~ thanks for the tip.
This is a great S post! Love the sweet apron. And thanks for the link of the address stamp! I have been wanting one of these for quite some time.
