My quilts are going to be put on hold for a while as we wait to hear about my husband's looming strike. So, instead I thought oven mitts would be a fun way to use up batting leftovers and all of my fun kitchen-y fabrics.
Time to do some laundry and perhaps hit the sewing machine again.

Do you recognize the print from our food fabric swap? I am practicing so that I can make more mitts out of my chicken leg, egg, toaster and sushi prints..... all courtesy of vous!
Gosh. We seem to have a fixation with food-themed fabrics :D
love those! By the way my husband has been on strike for a week god bless and I hope that it doesn't come to that .
