We're a little slow and what the heck are these spots????

I have some catching up to do.

The bumble and I are finally reading the Harry Potter books. It's about time, huh? In my defense, I was busy raising little kids and these books never made it to my to-do list. I can understand what all the craze is about I am completely sucked in! I have a rule as far as books and movies go, If there was a book written I can't see the movie until I've read it.... so we are reading each book and then watching the movie in sequence. Exciting lives we have here, eh?

Now, let's move onto the subject of spots. I was tidying up a bit and putting all my Etsy things in one spot when I discovered these yellow spots on the backs of my embroidered market bags. I know you can't really see them too good in the picture but trust me, they are there!

mystery spots

These spots were not there before when I finished the bags and took pictures, I zoomed way in and checked. The backs of the bags were made from one towel and the fronts were made from another towel that seemed to be identical. It's a mystery and the spots will not come out.

So, would anyone like these bags? C'mon, they are cute and they are on me!

Meat Market Tote 005

Fish Market Bag 001

If you are interested, leave me a post indicating which one you would like and if more than two people reply I will draw names on Thursday morning. If only one you post then you get both! The yellow spots are very faint and you might have better luck removing them that I did but the bags are still very cute and usable, I just can't sell them now.

I love the "from the range" tote. I was born and raised a meat and potato family.

I'll take the from the sea one if no one else claims it. Did you try that dual power spray & wash? If that won't work try liquid dishwasher detergent. (not the cheap kind Frank gets at the dollar store though)use an old toothbrush and let it sit for awhile. Your sister, Heloise

Ooops, I gave you the muggle version of the cure. Try the vanquishing mystery spot charm. I got great OWL scores on that one in my 5th year at Hogwarts.

Hi,

Put me in that there drawing for the fish one, thank you. I'm wanting to start a collection of totes to take to the grocery store so I can stop using disposables.

Sorry about the spots and thanks for being so generous.

I would actually like the "from the range" tote but not for me. My very good friend has started roller derby and they call all the new girls "fresh meat". lol I think this bag would fit well with her new found pasion for roller skating.
The fish one is cool too!!!!!

Calamity Kim called me and said to tell you to tea dye it. She can't put comments on your blog for some reason.

Yellow spot schmot. I'd love either. With 2 kids now, and one baby who seems to spit up more milk than she drinks, I'd have spots on it anyway.

I think they are both lovely. Super cute, spots and all.

The bags are wonderful! Did you put on the design or was it on the fabric? I love them both - too bad they are gone though. Nice blog.
